Well, at first all I wanted was a lute, but now you've got me all excited about wizards and swords and such! Better put 'em all on the list...

Well, with a pony and a lute, all you'd need was a mighty sword, a tower, a princess, a wizard and Dio, and you'd be all set!

some interesting sites with lutes...

lutesandguitars.co.uk

I'd go with the first site, but i'm not sure! I know I absolutely need a lute, but they're so uncommon and difficult to aquire! Damn it all! I wish there was a store near me where I could go and look at lutes (I wish...) before I bought it. Not too keen on online buys...

I want a more modern one, probably 6 or seven string (renaissance lute), but with metal frets instead of non-permanent gut frets. I'd also prefer a flatback, but i'll take what I can get. Oh yes, and i'd also like a pony, oh wait! you're not santa claus...sorry!LOLLOLLOL

well, whistler, I aim to start a prog band! That's right, a prog band in all its glory! Things aren't looking too great though...I'm gonna try and do some online collaboration here as a lyricist. Need any fanciful, wonderous, melancholic lyrics?

Holy crap, the lute thread! An early Whistler thread, but a personal fave.

Yeah, the price was what stopped me too...

holy crap!!! I was just thinking that I need a lute...really bad! Everything about them is soo alluring, especially to an all-things-medieval freak like myself! Check out the flatback lute at silvershellmusic.com. I'm in love with it just by the photo! Kinda pricy though...let me know if you find anything else, like something cheaper! Guitar is one thing, but lute is another.

So...I think I need a lute. Any advice? Like, any sites that are good for delivering lutes?
