Check out the newly added RIO/Avant/Zeuhl mp3's on the homepage:

Lars Hollmer (2) (of Samla Mammas Manna fame)

Hot Fur (relatively recent band from Israel

Snakefinger (of Residents fame)

Univeria Zekt (Magma album recorded under a different name, with a more accessible sound)

X-Legged Sally (2) (Belgian "chamber prog")

Zao (Magma off-shoot)

also check out the sample track for Robotobibok from Poland: great avant-acid jazz/fusion electronica (or something).

I am currently working on trying to get mp3's up there for as many RIO/Avant-Prog and Zeuhl bands as possible (unfortunately not from Cuneiform artists, because the label has objected).

More to come - stay tuned!

Ah, that'd be why there's no Present or Univers Zero MP3s up then.  That's sad.

But both bands early albums weren't orginally on Cuneiform, but I guess that doesn't matter.

Nice one though Joren.

Speaking of Lars Hollmer... I have yet to hear him (hint hint).

There are two 30 seconds edits of Present tracks I made months ago... I suppose I could do that for Univers Zero as well.

Speaking of Lars Hollmer... there are two mp3's online now, you wise-arse! Wink

Plus, I think it'd be healthy if you'd focus on some of the pending bands, Gecksy! Wink

Yes yes, I know, haha.  I'm listening to Circle right now, I'm waiting patiently for them to be added. Wink

Well, I have a deadline for Iván tomorrow, which means I need to listen to Vytas Brenner and I've only got one of his albums, but I know a certain someone has three of his.  My harddisk was full at the time and now it's not, so I missed out.

I've already voted for two of the pending bands, smartarse!

Oh and that Ping link didn't work.

Haha, where do I start...

All I need is two Vytas Brenner...

I have "La Ofrenda de Vytas".

Plus stuff from the ZART chart eventually.  The Vytas Brenner is more important for the moment though. Wink

Haha, thanks.  I can help you out in the future though, not only with work within the two teams in which we share duties, but also with a few musical favours too.  All in good time though my friend. Wink

Hmmm, well personally I think they're a little bit more than just a Space Rock band.  Yes they sound a bit like Hidria Spacefolk sometimes, but there's more to them that.

Just ordered from Aquarius the Kroko album Furia. I heard samples on their site and they sounded good to me, improv/noise/RIO. Read Adam's review on their second album (the name escapes me now) and it help persuade me to buy this one.

Also ordered Pataphonie - Le Matin Blanc, a French band which I wish to add to PA. Now I can have a stronger case to do so.
