i hate to be repeating what so many others have said, but after careful considerartion, no other album has touched me emotionally, psychologically, physically and sexually as CLOSE TO THE EDGE

Very impressed you chose a Krautrock one. I'll go for "Lateralus". Maybe my most listened to album, but it's effect remains consistantly mind-blowing. Plus that album propelled me head-first into prog metal, and intrest of the experimental sections led me to many other things. In fact, I'm gonna listen to it right now...
