In college we used to start card games at about 2 AM. Today I'm completely dragging because I didn't get to bed until 11:30...

Hope you're feeling better, prog-chick, mood-wise *or* back-wise. My leg was badly broken in a motorcycle accident and I think I'd still take that over back problems which, strangely enough, I had more of when I was a teen.

I remember I played too much of a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) on Telnet at Uni... kept me up for hours and hours... didn't help that someone else I knew also played it, so we sat in the 24 hour computer lab for far too long...

mid life crisis..? i was tempted to get a motorbike but got a divorce instead - turned out to be more expensive than a Ferrari ! i've been rediscovering the music of my youth a lot more since joining PA.
as for grey areas - a colleague of mine approaching 40 had his hair dyed grey recently, it makes sense! no one will notice when his hair does actually go grey, will they?

Hey Fred, I kept the wife and got rid of the sportscar ( wasn't a Ferrari that's just wishful thinking! ). I like your collegues' idea but my problem deals more with a receding hairline . |

That funky shed strikes again! Maybe you should put out a cd keeping that great pseudonym of yours and call it: Mystic Shed by Mystic Fred.

Funky meaning cool and not something else ( I forget that certain english words have different meanings depending on where you live.). |

I was thinking the level of discourse here would be a little higher...I can see that mayn't be the case.

Excellent review of England my friend, they sound exactly like the progressive rock I enjoy. Now I must seek this album out and buy it. I just purchased Aardvark, one of those Japanese mini lp/cd releases on ebay, I also bought Soft Machine's third on ebay as well. The problem with our style of music is, it can be a very expensive habit. |
