EXODUS - I prefer "Supernova", but I agree "The Most Beautiful Day" is very good album too. AFTER - if it's possible, please, some more information. "For Quidam fans" sounds so intriguing. |

Hello NotAProgHead In After there is a bass player from Quidam and there are many guests like Jacek Zasada (Quidam), Józef Skrzek (SBB) and Colin Bass (Camel). The album is called "Endless Lunatic". Check here http://www.after.art.pl for free MP3 Regards |

Thank you very much, Spacemac. Interesting band. I listened the samples and I can say I like band's sound and plan to buy the album. By the way, does anyone know about pania Derkowska after her departure from Quidam? Is she still in music? |

A couple of years ago I would have said QUIDAM, but their recent album was awful... Satellite are good, but I choose Riverside, both their albums are very good and I truly believe they have a very solid future ahead. |

Listening to Collage "Moonshine" as I type. So that's where it's at. I'll be getting A Street Between Sunrise and Sunset soon so, we'll see if my opinion changes. |

I am the only who think Czeslaw Niemen is far above all other mentioned artists/bands. Skaldowie also released some fine records in the early seventies ('od wschodu do zachodu slonca' is their best album). |

I was in Warsaw a couple of weeks ago for work and I didn't see a single CD shop.

Collage/Satellite. Riverside have not done as many albums and Collage/Satellitte have been fairly consistent over theirs

Gargantua - brilliant band that follows the tracks of Gentle Giant, with avant-garde lyrics.

Without hearing too much from any artists, I say Collage, based on Moonshine.

By far. I know most of these bands and many of them are/were good but nothing is comparable to Silesian Blues Band. Just listen to their album "Memento Z Banalnym Tryptykiem". One of the best symphonic prog albums ever! Every prog fan should know this one. Riverside and Collage are also awesome! |

I love Riverside, but since I haven't heard any other Polish band I
don't feel it would be fair to vote. Riverside is winning already, and
many of the other bands are probably just as good.
