Topic: The Get People to listen to Kong thread Posted: October 21 2006 at 03:23 |
I'll say up front I realize no one, or near no one, has heard of this band. They are one of my absolute favorites, albeit they forge an entirely different sound which us unlike a lot of what is listened to at this site. Recently they were added to the archives and I am hoping it will spur some interest in the band. Simply put, you should put their boxset/collection on your wishlist.
Audio samples can be found here.

You can also check out my reviews if you want a minor glimpse into what is expected. Stockhouse, for one, is an out of this world experience for me.

I've read your reviews and they have spurred some interest. I'll try to get hold of something by them.

I remember watching an hour-long show about this band on the now defunct German music channel Viva 2 a long time ago, in '98 or '99... I didn't appreciate them back then, was into different music, but like what I'm hearing now... Haven't they released anything since Freakcontrol ?
