Five - two in the morning, two in the afternoon and one espresso in the evening. On stressful days up to three more during the day....

1-3, so I'll vote 2. Last year there were these few months that I honestly averaged 5-7 and I was up until 3 every night (getting up for 6 at school). I can go to sleep right after drinking coffee if I want, so it's no big deal, but it allows me to stay up later if I want (which I usually do).

That'll be the diaretic effects of the caffiene, then. One thing people tend to forget in the tea/coffee debate is that tea contains almost as much caffiene as coffee. Anyway, back on thread - hows this for the perfect brew: a strong cappuccino, with an additional double espresso shot thrown in. I'M AWAKE NOW! |

6 - 8 cups.
It's better than in my student days. Then it was 9 big mugs of super strong coffee each day.
Coffee's my favourite drink, no doubt.

love it, I think the Italians have it right-- strong, flavorful, with just a bit of sugar and milk.
