Thanks  Dan.

I'd been meaning to find more info regarding Alex, but never got around to it.

From reading the article, I get the impression that Alex's son is a real A-Hole. Read the last couple of paragraphs regarding the musician's viewpoint.

I wonder if any of our fellow forum members who are also performers have had similar experiences of some doink weed jumping on stage and trying to take over the show?

It happened a couple of times to a band I played for during a tour of Russia and Siberia in 1992, but I can't blame anyone, it was all new to them back then. The concert halls and their stages are all huge as they were designed exclusively for ballet, opera and the like, and man! The dressing rooms!! The best one we had counted amongst its amenities TWO Steinway grands for pre gig practice!!

A large orchestra pit seperates band from crowd, where roadies, who untill a year or so before had been top ranking Red Army military police (I kid you not) made short work of dispatching (male) would-be transgressors. Most towns we played had never seen a western rock band, and the receptions we were given were warm, touching, and plain exiting. It was my chance to experience the 60s! If only western audiences could recapture that unjaded spirit.

ps Lifeson, have a word with yer kids why don't ya! I'll wager they're not too big to be put over your knee....
