So which one do you enjoy more? I just hope it won't be the "neither" optionBig smile.

Good poll!

I love them both A LOT Clap ! But whenever I make a list of favourite albums, the Asia debut is most of the times in or just outside my top 10, and 90215 is always lower, so it has to be the Asia debut.

Why? They're both sensational, but I keep listening to the Asia debut, and not as much to 90125.

But the bottomline is: both are BRILLIANT albums from the early eighties.

Yes, of course - much better album than it gets credit for. I'd rather listen to it than to all of Genesis' post-Hackett output.

Asia for me, not even close. And I like most of Yes' output, just not this one. I own it, but almost never play it. It's not even on my iPod.
Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.

I enjoy both!! Especially 90125. Additionally, I prefer Alpha over the debut.

Good poll, I love both albums.

Vocals: both wonderfull, hard to choose
Bass:  both good and strong, little plus for Squire
Guitar: Howe by a small margin
Drums: Yes by far
Keyboards: Asia

Songs: Asia.

Asia
1. Heat Of The Moment (3:54) ****
2. Only Time Will Tell (4:48)  *****
3. Sole Survivor (4:51) *****
4. One Step Closer (4:18) ***
5. Time Again (4:48) ****
6. Wildest Dreams (5:11) *****
7. Without You (5:07) ****
8. Cutting It Fine (5:40) ***
9. Here Comes The Feeling (5:40) *****

average: 4,2 stars

90125
1. Owner Of A Lonely Heart (4:27) *****
2. Hold On (5:15) ****
3. It Can Happen (5:39) ****
4. Changes (6:16) *****
5. Cinema (2:09) ****

7. Our Song (4:16) ***

"90125" by far. I like that album. "Asia" does nothing for me (except make me a bit queasy ).

Asia for me. The other Asia albums of Wetton's era are disappointingly formulaic with some standouts, but the debut is fine and enjoyable prog tinged AOR. As for Yes, I find that era of the band has dated more than their earlier work has. I don't mind the 80s albums but the flashy production gets a bit much for me...

90125 by a hair's breadth....
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
