Why is steve Howe even a choice? It's not like he is a lead singer for anyband (excluding solo work.) Why is Demis Roussos a choice as well? He isn't even progressive, even if you do count Aphrodite's Child.

ha ha, agreed, but I will say Steve Howe really has no business singing as lead. His back-up work with Yes is top notch though.

I'd vote for Fish but when I heard Steve Howe live and on the "Close To
The Edge" bonus live-in-studio outtakes he was AWFUL!!! So Steve Howe
wins

That cronic smoker from The Nice... the poor guy. I think he wasnt even a singer or a bass player. He simply was passing by near the rehearsal room in wich Keith emerson was having one of his rage outbursts because he needed a singer bass player, and in that outburst, Emerson took him by th throat and say to him "Bass play sing or die"... Sorry, I really couldn't find something better to add. But still, that Kick in the harmony singer is my choice for worst voice.
Other choices: every singer on every Rick Wakeman album.
Geede Lee is ok, but he's gonna have to pay for my windows and mirror.

For once, I'll agree 100% with you! Geddy is a great singer, especially now that he sings in a lower register.

Fish has completely turned me off Marillion. He sounds too much like a
wannabe Gabriel, Marillion isn't fun to listen to for me because of
that. I haven't heard any Hogarth-era Marillion though. I voted "other"
though, because I really have a problem with James LaBrie when he sings
high notes, because when he does that, his otherwise good singing turns
into an irritating wail, and I can't hear the words. I can put up with
this though, and I enjoy some Dream Theater every now and then. I just
wish he could sing as nice on Dream Theater albums as he does on
Ayreon's The Human Equation.

What about Ian Anderson? He's not much of a singer, is he?

You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy, and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks.

I agree. He isn't much of a lead singer, but he's great at doing backing vocals.
