Michael Keaton, but Christian Bale was good too.
George Coloney was the worst of all: Alfred was dying and he smile, fighting against Mr. Freeze and he smile, he supost to be sad in some scenes and he smile! what the crap! BATMAN NEVER SMILE!! He was much worst than Val Kilmer.

I remember being appalled when first hearing that Keaton was cast as Batman( I am a huge Dark Knight fan),but Keaton has definitely been the best so far.

I havnt seen the latest Batman film yet, but Keaton was the best, with Clooney the worst by a long way.

You forgot Val Kilmer.
Bale did the best acting job, but my vote went to the one who I enjoyed the most. Adam West, old chum.

Animated series Batman. Movie versions are somewhat tasteless.

Good call. I almost forgot about that. The animated series (from the '90s) was great. Mark Hammil (Luke Skywalker) did the voice for the Joker.

That's Adam West.
Can you believe that when Burton was filming Batman West was very offended that he wasn't offered the role?

me and and a friend of mine used to "play" Batman and Robin with Adam West... he would be Robin and i would be Batman and we had dialogues like:
-R: holy s**t, Batman...
-B: Robin!!!!
-R:oops! sorry Batman..
-B:i'll put pepper in your mouth, Robin...

Thanks, I had those two on tape back in my youth. I agree on the animated series being a lot cooler. Except the modern "batman in the future" (or whatever it's called) version, which is lame..

One thing's for sure: Adam West is certainly the best-ever mayor of Quahog, RI.
