Well, after listening to THE by Ayreon, my friend and I were discussing who could possibly be on their next album. So, who do you think would sound good in Arjen's next work?

For me:

Maynard James Keenan
Steve Wilson
Cedric Bixler Zavala
Mike PattonWink
Thom Yorke and Matthew Bellamy- playing the same characterLOL
Daniel Gildenlow

BTW if this is in the wrong place feel free to move it...

I like that idea a lot actually, but you need a classic prog guy-maybe Robert Wyatt.

I'd like to see a Robert Plant, or Ian Gillian or some old-time rock god in an Ayreon record

Hello, I had promised you to ask for Aryeon his opinion, here it is:

Well, after listening to THE by Ayreon, my friend and I were discussing
who could possibly be on their next album. So, who do you think would sound
good in Arjen's next work?

For me (Arjen Lucassen/Ayreon):

Maynard James Keenan
Steve Wilson

My secret dreamwish:

Cedric Bixler Zavala
Another favorite:

Mike Patton

Also fine are:

Thom Yorke and Matthew Bellamy- playing the same character

Greetings,
Arjen Lucassen

Given the occasional screams/growls present in Ayreon albums, I've always thought it would be amusing to throw Anders from In Flames into the mix. I know they're not a prog band, but I just think his voice might be nifty in an Ayreon album.

I made this a long time ago for a thread on the DT.net forums. It was about Arjen (or someone) putting together a Rock-Opera type concept album based on Star Wars:

I don't like it so much now, but whatever. Also, I realize I spelt "Jordan Rudess" wrong. I was really tired when I made that.
