                                     speaking of whom...

a long way from zeuhl of course if not by location but a lot closer to progressive rock than many may imagine. Serge left behind a seminal body of work from the late fifties to the mid seventies. Even his eighties work (especially with daughter Charlotte) is worthy of an honourable mention

As I am also French, I can read those you posted that are French. Good opportunity for me, as I don't get to use that laguage often these last times.

I plan on going back there too eventually, but only much further in the future (two or three decades possibly... LOL). Settle down somewhere in the southeast...

Did you live there?

I used to go to Paris once a month for a couple of years to meet friends. An' the odd trip to Nice. For some unknown reason I met the guitarist from Shylock there once (name escapes me for the minute) an' he gave me a copy of the private press of Gialorgues!  He's still playing around the Nice area apparantly. Nice chap!

I am sending you two lp’s as promised (I am sending two in the case you know someone that might be interested in it)

We are recording again in March-April (Stella has kindly suggested singing on the lp)

That’s it. See you soon, perhaps.

I can't understand the name of the place he is saying the recording will be.
I hope it is good. We should get another Frenchman here (Martin/Alucard, Philippe or Olivier).

So you know the guy, eh?   Cool

The 'quote button' is my enemy

avestin, I am forever in your debt!

'Stella' must be La Vander, no? !  Also I bought this LP from a Belgian musician years ago who needed money fast. No questions asked, heh! Didn't know he had another copy tucked away 'tho...

Although my French language ability is non-existant I'm guessin' that he signs off with

Yours sincerely
Yours Faithfully
Cordially Yours

                                                  or somesuch

(incidentally the damn thing cost a fortune...)

It is Hebrew

This is a site by an Israeli prog-rock (self-proclaimed) expert named Uri Breitman.
Besides this website he has also published a book in Hebrew about the history of prog rock.

I ocassionally go in there to see new reviews and news about the local prog scene and shows.
