I agree completely. It's so ridiculous it almost makes me mad. Who looks at how "ugly" someone is? Why don't you look at how beautiful they actually are? The shallow nature of this poll is evidence that the majority of the people in this forum know very little about the peace most prog music stands to withold. There's an elegance in living life as yourself and if you demean others you're basically proving yourself inept to that concept.

Alright Badabec and Fusionman, It was a joke. I wouldn't be on this site If I didn't adore the artists music. This started when me and someone else on this board were talking about Gentle Giant, which led to the band members, which led to saying how unpleasant John Weathers was, as a joke. I love his drumming. Then he said, well he doesn't compare to STeve Howe, or Geddy Lee. So I made a poll just for laughs. Don't worry about it. Don't get so uptight about music.

I totally believe you adore their music, without sarcasm I believe you are a big fan of prog. But whether or not you really understand and feel it how a musician feels it...that's most likely a no. It's just musicians are all somewhat OCD; it's what drives them to perfection. I once thought too hard about such things by even having the ability to think about them. I don't mean to be offensive or defensive; i'm just saying in person I bet his aura would shine a brilliant color.

I Agree with you, This was just a joke. It's fair to say The guys up there aren't the best-looking guys in music, but I'm not shallow. I know that doesn't affect talent, personality..anything!  I bet theyre all incredible people, this was all just a joke, I apologize.

I love music and musicians, but even I can see the three in this poll fell off the ugly tree & hit every branch on the way down...

Steve really just needs to cut his hair.  Older guys with long gray hair just don't look good (and women for that matter).  And get the tooth filled...he can probably afford it.

Geddy looks ok.

I picked Weathers, before seeing the 2nd pic posted by rileydog.  Wow.

And Trower - that one takes the cake!  And that outfit is horrendous!
