Topic: Cremated or Buried? Posted: August 29 2006 at 20:40 |
Well, we are all going to die one day!
I prefer to be cremated. (After hearing all these horror stories of people who wake up in their coffin )

Buried. That way I get the sound feeling when I die that I can rise again in hideous, soulless, flesh eating form You can't do THAT while cremated can ya? Come on, what are you gonna do? Get their shoes dirty?

Cremated...no doubt about it.
But I want my ashes interred, not scattered or kept on someone's mantle in an urn or somethimg like that.

Cremated.
Burying people takes up way too much valuable space already, it's ridiculous.

Cremated and then interred - I don't fancy being stored in an Urn on a mantlepiece and left to gather dust. Less space less waste... Also I really don't fancy being eaten by worms - no way!!!!

Good answer!
I want cremation, with my ashes scattered on the desk of my vehemently anti-smoking boss!

Neither.
I want to feed the worms! Don't want to pollute planet earth with smoke anymore (enough smoke during my lifetime!).

Buried... first to return the matter to the soil; second to not help increase queimadas and third to preserve my DNA in the case they want in the future to study a kind of arrogant ape that lived in the 20th and 21st Centuries!

I used to want one of those funky New Orleans style funeral processions while my casket is paraded through the street and hordes of people look on and weep uncontrollably. Now, I'd rather be mummified and buried beneath a newly constructed great pyramid somewhere in the middle of New Mexico.
