This poll is close with Relayer and Red both deservedly neck and neck for first choice. Personally Relayer just edges it for me!

Great year! My favourite is L'Isola De Niente by Premiata Forneria Marconi.

1. Power and the Glory - Gentle Giant
2. Warchild - Tull (why is this not a poll choice? - Third Hoorah is one of the must underrated Tull songs ever!)
3. Lamb Lies Down - Genesis
4. Kansas - Kansas (should also be on the poll - once again, Kansas is overrlooked)
5. Relayer - Yes
Non-Prog:
1. Bridge of Sighs - Robin Trower
2. Pretzel Logic - Steely Dan
3. Dave Mason - Dave Mason
4. Burn - Deep Purple

Quite an easy choice for me... Hamburger Concerto. Though I'd like to
give a shout out to Contrappunti, Red Queen, and the Power and The
Glory.
I was disappointed with Phaedra to tell the truth -- just not my cuppa T.D.

THE LAMB...
And at the risk of giving away my age a little here ( ), I saw the concert at the Berkeley Community Theater, California. NOTHING could top that for me that year, album and concert!

Most go for KC and Yes but for me it's:
The Power and the Glory then The Lamb..., RQtoG3, H and the N and You.
|
Looking still the same after all these years...

Easy one. Other (Peter Hammill - In Camera). Then Silent Corner. Then
Red. Then The Lamb. Then Phaedra. Then Crime of the Century. Then Rock
Bottom. Then Turn of the Cards. Then Kohntarkosz. Then Mirage. Or
something like that--but I'm pretty sure about those first three. '74
must have been a good year.

I chose Genesis's the Lamb, but I think Jethro Tull's Warchild should have been included (even though I wouldn't ever vote for it).
