Steve Hillage - Live Herald
Gong - Floating Anarchy Live 1977
Genesis - Seconds Out
Marillion - Anorak In The UK
Marillion - The Thieving Magpie
Peter Gabriel - Secret World

I'm a big Floyd fan but I find the concerts of the post-Roger live albums so over-produced, you might as well play the original tracks and get a few of your friends to cheer at the end! 'Is There Anybody Out There?' is very 'live' - I'd waited years for it to come out and I wasn't disappointed.

I see at least three people list Hamburger Concerto by Focus as one of their favourite live albums. The mind boggles.

This is not a live abum!!

Ahem, where were we?

I choose Peter Gabriel plays live.

The rather unknown French band Nemo's live album Immersion Public is splendid. PaaE by ELP is great aswell, but I've been too busy with studio albums by most artists, so I can't really comment on classics such as Yessongs.

Yes, indeed
So, it's Live at the Rainbow

Caravan/Fairfield hall 74' is not bad and features excellent sound quality.

<<the new dream theater one, score, followed by the other live dream theater albums. i wonder how many people are going to make negative replies to this post because i'm obviously a big dream theater fan.>>

Not I because I plan on getting both the CD and DVD on my lunch hour.

I'd have to say my favorites are:
Marillion: Anorak In The U.K. (could be the best sounding live disc I've heard)
Rush: Exit...Stage Left
Marillion: Popular Music
Marillion: Marbles On The Road
Kansas: Two For The Show
Genesis: Three Sides Live
Marillion: Made Again
The Flower Kings: Alive On Planet Earth
Rush: Different Stages
Dream Theater: Live At Budokon

My favourites in no particular order:

Camel - A Live Record
Rush - All the World's a Stage
GG - Playing the Fool
BJH - Live
Renaissance - Live at Carnegie Hall
Wishbone Ash - Live Dates
Runrig - Once in a Lifetime (not prog but amazing)
Wolfstone - Not Enough Shouting (A band I am keen to add in prog folk)
Mostly Autumn - Live at the Grand Opera House

My biggest regret is that Gryphon never did a full live album, (ie not sessions!).
