Topic: Google search (was "That's illegal..") Posted: August 23 2006 at 18:26 |
Making your search engine for the website a google search?
Wow, your Adsense must be going nuts, but it is against Adsense policy so you don't deserve a penny and it is VERY frustrating that I cannot surf this webpage currently.
This is just plain wrong.

I'm not too concerned about the legality (somebody else can talk about that), I just think that it's annoying compared to the previous search engine.

I would I don't know how, though, but is everyone else having this happen also?
Its pretty shocking they'd do this...hopefuly it wasnt intentional, but i dont see how it couldn't be.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. However, the band I'm searching is on the top of the list always.

I don't see any problems with searching the site. What do you mean exactly?

The Google search isn't as good, but what does it do with making AdSense go crazy and all that?

The search box on the front page is a pre-requisite for adsense.
Ad-sense is powered and owned by Google.

lol this is just really frustrating i hate it when people suckle adsense for money.
And we also have to deal with that buzzing ad of that zapper bee thingy.
Im sorry, but this whole website just got very unnecessarily annoying the past few days.

Basically, everytime YOU guys search for a prog band now in the "search", the owner of this website gets $$$$$$ for his Adsense check.

Adsense is "Google Adsense"
The search box is mandatory to earn money from adsense. Now unless the addled boy is very rich and prepared to sponsor the site and meet its server costs then.........

It's no big deal. Maybe I'll search for bands more often in an effort to support the site. ;)
