Well I'll move on to the next picture.. which should be an easy one... Who are these guys... The best thing was getting the attention of the one in the black jacket and getting him to play to me.. instead of the other guy...hehe

(its a bad pic, I know... I took it in the 70s with a 110 camera)

Yep... taken on the Animals tour, April 1977.  I left a cold Montreal after a few frozen months with ELP in rehearsals to fly to sunny warm Atlanta.. to thaw out.. and spend a few days with Floyd before I turned around and flew back to Montreal.

Probably way off mark here, but I think it looks like Chris Robinson, formerly of The Black Crowes.......

Stevie Wonder? Well, he used the Mini Moog in some of his 70s albums (Inner Visions is great!!), and this picture was taken in the recent Moog Fest, right? Assuming it is so, the only African American celebrity that I know could be related to the Moog stuff is Wonder.

I hope that wasn't Ray Charles. I don't want to remember him that way.

He does look a little like Ray Charles there actually... but no, its not Ray Charles..

Okay.. I'll tell you, cause he's not prog so you'll probably never guess.  He's Mr. Funk himself... Bernie Worrell...  If you don't know who Bernie is...he's played with nearly everyone, including a member of the Talking Heads. Here's a link to a little bio and interview..

Bernie Worrell.... I've got twenty CD's that he's played on and I swear to Peter Rideout.... I'd never, ever, in all my life, seen a picture of him. Wow!

Thanks, Fates.... That is so cool that you could answer a question I'd never even asked... Wow...

You gotta check out Ginger Baker's Horses and Trees. Bernie's Fab.
