   I thought it would be interesting to ask around here, a place that is not known as a musical instrument forum! For some time now I have been interested in playing the keyboards; at first by myself, and eventually I hope to find an outfit to play with! Of course, I am agonizingly short of money. I will stoop to any low levels (price-wise ) to find a keyboard which I can simply play and learn on. All my experiences with Rick Wakeman, Kieth Emerson, Tony Banks, and Thijs van Leer. Also, I have always wanted a keyboard, especially since I began hearing Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Chopin, Satie, etc! Such beautiful potential.

Anyway, if this is even in the correct form! I would like to ask potential fellow musicians (and keyboardists, in particular!): what is a cheap line of digital pianos? All I truly want is 61 keys, and piano/strings/choir/organ settings. Everything else is simply masturbation to me!  I must begin, and one day contribute to our site!

Any ideas?

	I'd look at something like a Yamaha PSR series keyboard for the simple reason that they are pretty good value, they have built in speakers and the sounds aren't actually bad at all In the UK you can find a PSR A300 for under 200 pounds, you get over 500 sounds, probably a lot of them are based on the very pro Motif range. I could imagine it might be quite giggable even later down the line. These "home keyboards" used to be a bit of a joke, but people like Yamaha basically use the kernel of their pro products in these things these days

	Thank you MarkOne! I was set on getting one of those slab/stage pianos, as they seem the smallest and best for now. The PSR and Casio CTK appear to be good for the price.
