PINK FLOYD — Wish You Were Here
Review by Jota_Quezada WYWH isn´t the best album in the PF history, and I think it doesn´t even reunite the merits to be in the "key album" charts for this band. I think that of the whole LP, the only song that really contributes to the band trascendence is Shine On You Crazy Diamond (both parts). Not even Wish You Were Here, that may be the most known of the songs of the band, but far away of the better one. I think that Dark Side of The Moon, Piper At The Gates of Dawn or Meddle for example, are far away better albums and more important albums that WYWH was: musicaly and in concept terms. Says nothing, other than that the other PF albums are better. |

Seems just a bit lacking in details. An edit should fix that, IMO.

Progressive Metal
(Studio Album, 2002) Avg: 3.43/5 from 19 ratings RHAPSODY / RHAPSODY OF FIRE — Power of the Dragonflame Review by lffm I find the songs on this particular album to be most enjoyable. Rhapsody exhibits an energy that few bands can match. While alot of the songs really do sound similar this band is extriemly good at what it does. And while this may not impress everyone, it certanly has impressed me. JAIVAS, LOS — Los Jaivas
Review by jvargas The album, also named Los Jaivas (aka El Indio) was a huge step forward, in compositions, lyrics and sound quality. The chilean folklore roots mixed with rock appear on "Pregon para Iluminarse", while they sound like Santana on "Guajira Cosmica". The standout track here is the 13min three section instrumental "Tarka y Ocarina", the first can be defined like King Crimson circa Lark's Tongues in Aspic mixed with traditional altiplanic music, the second is an extended almost solo piano section, alternating beautiful and calm passages with more agressive material (one of their keyboard players, Claudio Parra, had formal training on piano, and he shows it here, as the whole piano section is just him). The last section is very pastoral, with harps, flutes and acoustic guitars. Posted Thursday, August 17, 2006, 17:27 EST | Permanent link JAIVAS, LOS — Canción Del Sur

Could have been a mistake, eh?
I'd say give him notice of the fact and delete the faulty one |

Just in case...
In fact, a fine review that deserves to be translated.
For Your Journey' o 'The Edge Of The World') que ponen la carne de gallina. Two Roads'.

I just found this review of an ELO album:
ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA — On the Third Day Review by prog frog This album Is Fantastic! and i know anything ''PROG'' including reviews have to be long drawn out affairs! Not this time! like the album my comments are short sharp and to the point !.........Buy it! Here's the permanent link too:http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=87799 As usual, it's not the length - it's just that it doesn't say anything useful about the album in question.
