The front page of PA or an add on it has been defected by SystemDoctor malware. Do not let it install anything on your computer! You will get several tyroyans seekers, keyloggers etc as well!

If you do not have a proper Virus detection and spywarte prevention installed I strongly suggest that you don't use PA untill it has been cleaned.

It is the Drive Cleaner add! Do not click it. If you have an other browser window open it will be redirected to an harmfull site that tries to "clean" you drive. It is malware!

^ adblock (a mozilla/firefox plugin) removes all these ads ... so my advice would be to install an ad blocker. Just deciding to not click the ads can still get you into much trouble if you click them accidentally, or if one of them infects your browser without you even clicking on the ad (it's unlikely, but as web browsers are not 100% perfect software, the risk is always there).

I have asked M@x to investigate.
