Topic: Your favourite animal? Posted: August 07 2006 at 11:53 |
Allright progheads,
I know this poll may be stupid, but I've thought it would be interesting to see which animals you like most.
I chose the raccoon, but I also like a lot wild pigs and walrusses. And not to forget the all-time funny penguins!

Crocodiles. The closest lving relatives to dinosaurs. Both are members
of the so-called archosauria", which some see as sub class of reptiles.
Others put the archosauria on class level, like birds, mammals,
reptiles and so on; the problem is where to put the crocodiles then.
Anyway, crocodiles simply fascinate me. As a kid I had a center
triplefold photo of a crocodile of about 6 meters length running at
full speed from Geo magazine pinned to the wall of my room.

i wish i was a cat......
i'd have a house full of servants, love and affection on tap, come and go when i want, lots of fun stalking little animals and patrolling my territory, never have to do any work and sleep all day, regular food.....a short life but a happy one.
"A Cat may look at a King "....anon.

I just can't think of anything sweeter than one of these fellows: (for a moment, please forget that these little nasties eat bird eggs, hehe..) http://www.pellinge.net/johan/djur/slides/ekorre.jpg http://www.bioresurs.uu.se/myller/skog/skog_bild/ekorre.jpg http://www.bioresurs.uu.se/myller/skog/skog_bild/ekorre2.jpg I mean, tose bony fingers with which they hold the food, the fuzzy tail, the soft fur.. really, no contest.

Cat... I have a ladyCat (¿Man, how does anyone mention the genre of an animal in english?) and I just adore her... quiet, clean, funny. Plus, I don't see myself having a bear as a pet; since I'm made of flesh...

I wonder if someone will choose a rat...
I don't bear cats... wolves are more preferrable... especially the steppe ones...
Crocodiles are nice... iguanas are even nicer... seriously, I like them...
But the favourite is, probably, a marabou...

wolves, though I love cats too. but I am absolutely fascinated by
Canadian classical pianist Hélène Grimaud, who lives with a pack of
wolves.
strangely I am not too fond of dogs

Cats, cats, cats - always cats!
Our late lamented Dweezil (now sadly hunting in the clouds with our other companions from the past, Frank, Diva & Moon):
One of the current two we share our lives with - Baggins (now a huge, bruising moggy of a cat - utterly daft, utterly dim & very heavy if he lands on your cods when you're asleep ):
So far, no photos in my phtotbucket album of our other cat, the diminutive, but very vocal Tosca.
