Why did you give up, T.Rox? You were on the right track: Jackie's Acrylic Coat by Soft Heap it was. Al, if the material up there is leather then maybe you're thinking about Frank Zappa's Läther. This next one should be pretty easy (a song): |

"We've got to get in to get out"

Are you feeling sorry for me?
Black Hat by National Health
I think I would have had more chance of getting "Acrylic" if you had used a tube of paint!
Here is a group ... one-word name...

Guzz: Läther it was!
I'll try Knight's Nightmare (even so on your second pic there is still the sun)

Although Läther isn't German for leather (that would be Leder) I simply took Alucard's hint that there was some unusual spelling involved and was lucky enough to hit on that Zappa-album.
Al and T.Rox: You're absolutely right in assuming that it was Knight's Nightmare I was looking for. Hello krring and welcome to the Progressive Rebus ! Always good to have new players and you storm in with a puzzle, great! I think you're thinking of Miles Davis, right? Next one is a song (two words): |
|
"We've got to get in to get out"

Hmmm ... the thread seems to have stalled! Okay, same band ... different puzzle ... no slang this time:
One word ... three letters only!
...and the original puzzle:
|
|
"Without prog, life would be a mistake."
...with apologies to Friedrich Nietzsche |

I'm afraid you're wrong here, aapatsos, as that in T.Rox' second pic isn't a cage, but a toastrack, thus it has to be Swiss formation Rak, right, Mr. T.?
Is that Aussie slang, calling those in the first pic rack,T.Rox? I was wrecking my brain trying to get the c off of b**bs or take the c out of knockers, but that didn't get me anywhere. Maybe I have to improve my English, at least the bit of slang I understand. Oh, and up there you were right with Mellow Candle, aapatsos Shall we try an easy two-word song-title? |

Rak it is, Guzzman!
It is not uncommon here to hear some guy say, "She's got a nice rack" ... but it appears the term originated in the US...
