This isn't really a review...he talks more about himself than the music on the album.

I THINK SOMETHING VERY FISHY IS GOING ON OVER AT THE FIRST PAGE (and it's not Fish-related):
Review by pedro
-------- All the reviews theoretically are fine enough to count, still all of a sudden, all the great artifacts of prog being of one stars calibre in a statement made by persons with no link to their mail (or whatever). Call me the freakiest fanboy ever, but something is wrong in this and I sense it. In another fact of seeing it, the guys doesn't actually denigrate the albums, just says that something's good, but not enjoyable, or it's TOO complex, or it yanks his chain etc. How adequate of a complete 1-star flaw can that come? Well, you have to elaborate a bit your statement. In this situation, with just "hey! there's a bug on my windshield", you get refused. |

Those 1 star reviews all came form the same IP address, but quoting different e-mail addresses. Some of the text has been copied from elsewhere.
Clearly an attempt at manipulation. Now dealt with.

That creep copied a part of my Second Life Syndrome review from Riverside and added one star to it .. how sick to put your time into these kind of childish actions !
I have send a PM to Bob and also read the abovementioned reactions, meanwhile justice has done !

AREA — Gle Dei Se Ne Vanno, Gli Arrabbiati Restano!Review by gillesAREA were one of the more varied Italian bands with their distinctive mix of prog and jazz genres. Without a question AREA’s early 70’s work is pure classic Ital prog, it was post 1975 release some albuns that caught my ear. Its more politics as music vein. The band lineup included Patrizio Fariselli (acoustic piano, M.C.S. 70 synthesizer and electric piano), Larry Nocella (tenor sax), Giulio Capiozzo (drums), Ares Tavolazzi (electric bass, double bass, guitar), Guido Guidoboni (trumpet), Luciano Biasutti (trumpet). Poor, only for a true fan. Half of the review is filled with the line-up... and the line up is wrong!

PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI (PFM) — Jet LagReview by AndreaSalvadorAccording to me "Jet Lag" is an album written so as to be much technician and for this ready one to make taken on the listener. A lot remains a great album with songs to of the average. For this the council to firm who not to the album more famous than a band! Posted Wednesday, December 01, 2004, 14:08 EST | Permanent link |

Only reviews under Mandrakeroot name shall survive. Others from the same reviewer are being gradually deleted.

Another review in Spanish, by the same person (without swearwords, though):

GENTLE GIANT — OctopusCould someone please delete this reiview of mine I put under the wrong name?
Review by The_guy_who_likes_froga
Octopus is an album I have trouble rating, sometimes I can listen to it back to back and enjoy every second of it, and, other times I cannot stand it. It’s strange but this circumstance occurs regularly with me with many albums. There is one song I can always enjoy on Octopus and that song is, A Do’s Life, it brings me fond memories of my little Scottish terrier who fits the description perfectly. This is quite a strange song and the harmonies of the violin and synthesizer (I think it’s a synthesizer) clash. It amazes me that these clashes still sound good, probably due to the fact that Gentle Giant are very igneous. |

It doesn't have to be deleted, just send a PM to Guigo or Easy Livin and they can switch the username of the reviewer to yours.
