Because he got kicked out of Pink Floyd and only played on this album as a session musician.

Didn't new that. STILL my reference is this site in which Wright is in the Pink Floyd.

I guess it's pretty academic whether he's listed as a full member or a guest, it's probably just down to the contract. He would always be thought of as a full member.
I believe this is also the album where Mason didn't play much because he hadn't picked his sticks up for a few years so they brought in session drummers.
 
I also believe Rick Wakeman was officially a session musician on Going For The One.
