My favorite would have to be the "Spacey/Early" period.

Well an ongoing thanks to all who voted in my first ever poll. I have to say I am absolutely amazed. Firstly because so many people who voted are so fond of the spacey era (as I classified it) which is my personal fave. Secondly, that no-one, to date, has voted for the period which encompassed "The Wall". Given the allegiance that many folks on here have to that said album it has been quite a revelation.

69-72 era for me... they were more a band rather than meerly an instrument in Water's hands.. much as I like Waters..

I love it all up to The Wall, but I like Syd's stuff the best. Pink Floyd may be my favorite band.

For me it's actually every period but the Gilmour years, which are pleasant but no more than that. IMHO Pink Floyd are one of those bands whose output has been consistently good over a long period of time. However, having to choose, I voted for the "refined progressive" years.

I can't vote, because my three most favourite albums are Animals (Roger Waters years), Wish You Were Here (Refined Progressive) and Piper (Psychedlic/whimsy (Syd's age))...

I chose refined progressive, but that should certainly include Meddle (but not OBC).
