Italia!
I like Italy and Italian culture very much, actually I started to learn Italian a year ago, but decided to stop and "polish" my English before. I hope I'll start learning it again in a year.

Not much of a choice here is there?
In both case, the winner's fans/ countrymen will be insufferably arrogant, very pretentious for the next four years, and we will never hear the end of it.
But in case of a loss, the Italians will shut up and sulk in their corners, while the French will still remain insufferably arrogant at finding reasons/causes external to their defeat, so no matter what, the French will break our balls
So in order to minimize our suffering , I choose we declare France the winner, without even playing the game, so only one country will be arrogant
Plus, if Italy wins while they have all of their scandals, this might just confirm they are doing SOMETHING right (like blatant game fixing ) >>> So France

Well done! I taught Italian to foreigners for almost six years and enjoyed the hell out of it. Whenever you need tips, I'm here for the asking. As to you, M. Chantraine.... You won't escape my wrath! Seriously, though, I won't be the one to break your balls (I wouldn't dare to do anything of the sort ), as I'm off for two weeks and I really couldn't care less about football. I only hope they will let me sleep on Sunday night...

France does not have a chance. Italy should win fairly easily.

Well, perhaps not 3-0, and I don't know about winning fairly easily... but that's what everybody hopes around here!

I called Italy from the get-go, and see no reason to change now.

The poll is showing that people are favoring Italy two-to-one over France. Not surprising IMO. I think many people believe it should be Brazil instead of France in the final, I know I do, but that wasn't meant to be unfortunately. France is an old team, but they find ways to win and that is why they are in the final; but their luck will run out on Sunday.
