On the Dutch tv was told that Maradonna wanted to enter the stadium but his friend was not allowed because his ticket was not valid. Maradonna refused to let his friend alone and together they returned to the hotel and saw the game there ..... Cry ... That's the reason why you didn't see Maradonna 'in dulci jubilo' when the Argentine fans celebrated my predicted 3-0 win against Germany ... Confused ..........LOL !

Agree. Anyway, we DESERVED to win.
It's evident that Argentina, despite of they almost didn't do goal situations, they putted MORE balls than Germany.
And Argentina had the control of the ball almost all the match.
Well, I'm f****g depressed and I hope the f*****g Germanies to lose next time. No more to say .... I'll go to sleep .... Sleepy

Worst match so far. People pay good money to be entertained, not watch dross and theatrical diving

well...don't forget BRAZIL vs CROATIA...

Pekerman quits as Argentina coach
Jose Pekerman
Pekerman took over as Argentina coach in September 2004
Jose Pekerman has quit as coach of Argentina following their quarter-final loss to Germany on penalties.

"This has come to an end and I will certainly not go on," he said.

"You have to make a decision and I'm convinced I've done everything in my reach, and it's time to look for something else.

"I'm very sorry for the coaches and the fans and the players, this team deserves to go further but we couldn't make it."

For me it remains incredible that Pekerman kept Messi on the bench after the 1-0 lead, this little genius could have done very well against the determined but clumsy German defenders, now they easily could handle Cruz ... what a disappointment and what a disgrace that Messi was not allowed to cheer up the footballfans with his amazing skills. But Germany will build a statue for Pekermann in Berlin ....

By the way, I only eat one shoe, I hope you will forgive me BebieM, the other one I will eat if Germany beats Italy, this is also something I cannot believe, those tricky and experienced Italian forwards will beat the German defense, I am sure about that. But I have to say that Germany is a well-organised team with an amazing spirit (guided by Ballack and Klose) and the German fans are #12!

Argentina played better in the first 50 minutes, but the last part of the match I don't think so..

Well, I'm used to your negativity about the German team by now ... I said its 60-40 to beat Argentina, now it's even 70-30 they beat Italy IMO

Argentina was the best team of the tournament (well, Brazil excluded maybe), now that we've won that game everything's possible Clap

They won't beat Italy. Germany richly deserved their victory against Argentina but they'll find the Italians too street smart for them. Into the final to meet Brazil.

First of all, I don't care about the US national football team, they were bound to lose! Wink

Second of all, Argentina played a good game, but were weak at the end, that's all. Wink

No hard thoughts, but I thought Tevez shouldn't have started the match.
