Topic: Best medicine program Posted: June 27 2006 at 00:10 |
Scrubs is the best show in television (along with Family guy)...but greys anatomy is also very good (quite adictive also)

I like ER very much.
Scrubs is great but not really a medicine program, just a sitcom, but a damn good one.

Where's Doctor Kildare, or even Marcus Welby?
My wife (a nurse) says: "House."
(I say I don't give a rat's arse. Books and music are 1000% better than the mind-numbing raw sewage that is TV!)

Yes House is good every once in a while... but I can see it getting sort of... you know... worn out? Like... Wow, that House... so crazy... he just shot a corpse! Eventually its... wow... hes still crazy... are they gonna threaten to fire him again? Yep... they threatened him... he shot something... there was some... virus or something... crazy... blah.... Its like in the X-Files (One of the awesomest shows in the history of EVER! ) where Mulder is always mentioning these crazy conspiracies and ... theories and junk to Scully... and then Scully is always skeptical, and then Mulder or Scully finds something that TOTALLY proves her wrong, and then the next episode she's skeptical AGAIN even though she KNOWS shes ALWAYS WRONG! Damn you Scully! Actually, even though the X-Files does something sort of lame like that, they make fun of themselves for it, which I find to make it even funnier. An example is in the episode where the crazy guy lobotomizes women by putting an awl through their eye socket into their brain (VERY spooky)... and the pictures of people about to die look all distorted... well in the beginning of the episode a picture is taken of a woman who is kidnapped (and later found to have been lobotomized) and the picture looks all warped and shes screaming and theres wierd shapes... and Scully tries to rationalize it by saying that the film is old and it was sitting on top of a heater which may have caused the film to become distorted and warped and Mulder rolls his eyes at her because its so painfully obvious that there is no reason that Scully could find that could explain the photo... Anyway! House = pretty good... X-Files = LEGEND Someone start an X-Files thread.

Scrubs from the list, and while I generally don't like medical dramas, House is fairly impressive.

My wife is a nurse too,a trauma nurse at Maryland Shock Trauma, and she refuses to watch medical programs. She says it's like bringing work home with her.
