Yeah, Memowakeman, I'm sorry for Mexico, I think they showed everybody that Argentina are beatable.
Maybe against another side Mexico may of got through to the quarter finals.
I have NO idea why Van Baston left Van Nistelrooy out?? Holland seemed to be crying out for a finisher in the game, a game which was ruined by the referee, IMO.

Italy appear to have an easy route to the semi-finals but either Germany or Argentina will meet them there, thats where they will be really tested. (and probably loose)

Without Deca, England will have a slight advantage over the Portuguese, that is if England begins to play like they are truly capable of.  If not, Portugal will win.  Portugal have played with more aggression and passion than England has (Rooney notwithstanding) and proved it can win an ugly game with only 8 men.  It should be a terrific match.

The ref again was totally wrong. Sent them all home and replace them with basketball refs. It can't get any worse.

I didnt watch that Italy vs Australia match, was it a penalty?
 
Anyway i like Italy, now the last Mexican thing in this World Cup is a referee who will participate later in Switz vs Ukraine, hope he do a good job, and not as the same way as the last referees...
 
For that match, my prediction is Ukrain will win 2 - 1 in regular time

It was never a penalty-the referee is stupid.
The Australian player was already on the ground and static when the Italian hurled himself over.
Dreadfully bad luck for the Australians who were he better team.

I can see Shevchenko scoring against Switzerland.  He's a pretty decent player and has been somewhat overlooked in the World Cup.  I hope he gets a hat-trick!
