Hello NutterAlert.

That sexy 'stringed' woman in the rain on a football pitch is from a hot photo session for the Brasilian Playboy in 2002, it was meant to motivate Wink the national team on the World Cup in Japan/South-Korea and it did, Brasil beat Germany in the final Clap !

Perhaps an idea to motivate the English team with a UK Playboy version on this tournament Wink ..?

Wow, that Mexico v. Portugal game was rather interesting!

10 Man Mexico outplaying Portugal!

It would have been interesting to see both teams playing with their full strength teams actually.

Also, was that Slovakian referee the worst yet for decision making?

Yup, credit Mexico for playing better with 10 than 11........the ref, Lubos Michel, is normally pretty good, but I agree he had a shocker today.....it's a shame that a ref's bad day is noticed & talked about for longer than the players..........none of whom would have the guts to try to do the job of the ref or linesmen (yes; I know)...........

I agree actually!  But he wasn't that great either.  He should have given a penalty and not booked the Mexican for diving.  Also he missed another blatant dive.  Apart from that though, he wasn't too bad.

You're right, he gave a yellow card for the defender but it was clearly a dive. That was the worst mistake he made though, otherwise he was Ok.

Im sad with that match, it was a mistake started with our tallest defense, and surprisingly  our captain Rafa Marquez played horrible, because of the penalty, failed passes and wrong decissions, im angry because against Angola and today with Portugal, Mexico generated lots goal opportunitties (including a penalty) , but they didnt score, now both Argentina or Holland will be difficult, but anyway if they go mind- cleared, they will play better...

Holand since 74. In 78' Argentina pay for the title, it´s was a shame.
Almost in Brazil people doesn't like Argentina and vice-versa in Argentina.
They have great players and some play or played football in Brazil like Tevez in Corinthians now (best player from Argentina today) or Sorin (Played in Cruzeiro) and they are favorites with Brazil, Germany, England, Italy, but I prefer Holand to this match.

Wow. Penalty against Argentina. Where are you referee?

great game at now.

Now that's put a truly revolting image into my mind - thanks a lot Angry!

Some flashes of inspired play from both sides so far, Messi in particular, but a slightly disappointing first half.

ARGENTINA 0 - HOLANDA 0

I was hoping a different game, at least one goal. I saw Messi maybe a bit uninspired, it semt like he wanted to play alone, and stand out just him. But, it's OK, he'll play better the next time and will have a chance to make a goal. Tevez played very good !! He deserved a goal.

And, despite of the tie, we finished 1st in our group, so, as I said before: see you soon, Mexico ...
