The Call of Ktulu is my favorite, also Ride is my fav album
 
But my fav non instrumental epic is Master of Puppets, followed by One and Bleeding Me

Master of Puppets is pretty brilliant, IMO. It was the first Metallica song I ever heard, and it blew my mind. Thumbs Up

I personally can't stomach anything after the Black Album (which I only liked about half of).
