All three of those guys are some of the most talented and influential voices of their genres/time periods. Both Jon Anderson and Geddy Lee have two of the most distinctive/well-preserved voices in all of prog. James LaBrie is a modern phenomenon. His vocal lines are so unique and original sounding, and they never get boring. He has a great variety of vocal styles, so he can fit into anything from the fragile ballads to the skull-bashing thrash songs. He also is one of the best range singers in the history of prog. Overall I couldn't imagine any of their bands without them singing for them.

I voted Geddy Lee  , I'm used to his singing but I still don't like it.

Of those three listed in the poll, Lee gets my vote as well. Now if you were adding any other names, the lead singer for the Nice would have to top all lists as needing to be removed.

all are irritating but have their good moments. Jon Anderson's voice must stay. But James La Brie... it would be nice to hear something different in DT

Sorry, but Labrie is really unconvincing during the heavy parts. During the mellow parts he's fine, but otherwise .

I have no problem with these singers. In Yes and Rush's case it's because I enjoy and admire the vocals, and in Dream Theatre's case it's because I have no intention of listening to them ever again.

if Labrie is not their vocalist, its hardly sounds like Dream Theater  ... I think he is great, all are great...

Labrie's voice annoys the heck out of me.
I'm glad to see Children of Bodom in your 2nd most listened to spot. Those guys are great man.

They are all more soprano than tenor.Baritone is deep.I like all three singers.
I think the registers are castrati,alto,soprano,contralto,tenor,baritone.Someone correct me where appropriate. |
*sigh* ok people, i will explain. castrati is not a register, it really is a form of its own not to be compaired to others because their voices never develope, unlike other vocalists. the vocal range for male and female are similar, except females cant go as low. Female - Soprano, mezzo-soprano(a little soprano), alto Male - soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritenor, beritone, bass-baritone, bass i like all three, i agree that LeBrie has a great voice but does not use it to its potential. Also i belive that Geddy and Anderson have voices high pitched enough that they may be confused as a castrati, but do not look like them so i dont think they are (unlike Cluadio of C&C *Shudders*)

All are great vocalists, in particulat Jon Anderson. Geddy Lee sounds a lot like Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin to me.

I've never been a huge fan of James LaBrie. He can be a little too
whiny at times, and I have never been able to hear what he sings when
he sings high notes. His James Hetfield impressions are pathetic.
