I visited many days progarchives and I'm always strageness for the absence of one of my favorites bands: Boston.
I would like to make a suggestion: Place a record of this band. Maybe in Art Rock or Symphonic Prog.
More info at: http://www.boston.org/main.html (Band's official webpage)
Regards.

Agreed. They are one of the classic AOR bands. |

I definitely enjoy Boston's first two albums, but I'd have to concur that they're not prog, IMO.

Nope, not prog. The only song I know that even approaches it is 'Foreplay' with some complex organ and guitar interplay but other than that it's AOR- one of the best bands of that genre though.

Ohmygod... Boston (bar their first 2 albums, but that's not enough) are one of the slushiest AOR bands around. They have no more place on this site than the likes of Journey, Toto and Survivor would have.

have to throw my two cents in for what it's worth... Boston AOR... and
damn good AOR it was... but not prog. Journey though.... I could
see them for their early stuff ala Deep Purple and ELO. If the
site is to be 'all-inclusive'
Survivor..... |

Ugh. That's all we would need is to have people reviewing two of the most overplayed albums in the history of mankind. I had my fill of Boston by the time I got out of college in the 80's. But to my dismay, More Than a Feeling can still be heard on the radio pretty much every day of the week. Thank you all for shooting down even the thought.

We should sooner add Europe. It's a better place to live too, so I hear.
