As to really bad, ugly names, I think there are quite a few death and black metal bands that deserve this award. Cannibal Corpse, anyone?

When I was in my teens, a friend of mine played in a band called "Urinprobe", the German word for "Urine Sample". They never made a record though, as far as I know.
