Dead Kennedys - bad name, but some very good music. Jockorama was one of the best songs to come out of punk.
Cowboy Junkies - I have everything of theirs. Pretty good band, although a bit predictable after a while.
Around that same time there was also a band called Cowboy Mouth which I didn't understand the meaning of (and most likely wouldn't have wanted to know).
