  It's between Radiohead and Porcupine Tree.  I chose Porcupine Tree because Radiohead gets plenty of recognition.  Ultimately i would say it's a tie.

For bands pushing what is capable in music at the moment I vote for The Mars Volta. Don't get me wrong, I like Anekdoten, Riverside, Tool, Paatos and all of those bands, but its The Mars Volta who are going deeper into uncharted territory than any of those bands.

BUT, Godspeed you! black emperor went even further than The Mars Volta when Omar and Cedric where still in At the drive in and I still haven't seen a band going in the direction in to what Godspeed whent. (maybe ASMZ but at their third release they had their own identity instead of a GYBE copy)

OPETH hands down all the way. They blow tool out of existence. TMV shouln't be on this list they are not prog.

Excuse me! Yeah,GYBE is one of my favouritest bands,how could I miss them?
