i've noticed on some of Porcupine Tree's stuff that in some songs that have some beautiful vocal harmoies which really surprised me.  I especially loved the harmonies in In Absentia they are just so beautiful and really adds alot of mood in the album. so tell me what is your favorite album that has PT at their best with harmonies.

In Absentia.

Highlight, harmony-wise? The Sound of Muzak.

I love Deadwing, but as far as vocal harmony goes, I vote for In Absentia.

Not sure I should vote since I only have a couple of discs (until Signify and Coma Divine arrive next week), but Porcupine Tree's harmonies has really made me take notice. That and Gavin Harrison. Could be one of the best drummers these ears has heard in a long time.

Really tough choice....to my ears, Wilson's harmonies seem to gt better with each subsequent release, and everything from Stupid Dream on are worthy contenders. I'll say In Absentia, though, as overall it is my favorite, with some the most spine-tingling harmonies (Lips of Ashes, Sound of Muzak, Heartattack in a Layby).

ClapClapClapcouldn't agree with you more on Gavin Harrison lots of talent the thing that impresses me about him is just the way he grooves on his kit its so tight and another thing how the heck can you play like him on SOUND OF MUSAK its so weird yet cool
