this "review" makes personal comments to another reviewer, and in general tells me nothing about the album.
CARAVAN — In The Land Of Grey And Pink Review by Fido73 (Etienne Brousseau) I just read a review of the album saying that "Nine Feet Underground" wrecks the album... HELLO, IS IT PROG YOU WHERE TALKING ABOUT????? Because "Nine Feet Underground", is one of the best prog epic i've eard in my life !!!!! Only 3 other epic beats that one IMO and they are, "Close To The Edge" and "The Gates of Delirium" by Yes and "Supper's Ready" by Genesis. Posted Tuesday, May 30, 2006, 02:47 EST | Permanent link |

if i'd never heard this album before this review tells me nothing.
from 193 ratings RUSH — Moving Pictures Review by MadcapLaughs84 (Hector Hernandez) Have you ever dream about being in the outter space??? Definitely an album to fly.Excellent lyrics accomplich the impressive instrumentation by this Canadian Guys. Hard to explain what this album means to me, this is definitely my favorite Rush Album, this also was an album that trapped me since the first listen, songs aren't that intrincate as in their previous works. Simply an album that you gotta listen. Excellent drums and magical lyrics. Posted Monday, May 29, 2006, 23:50 EST | Permanent link |

more nonsense.....???
Are Gentle Giant “giants” during this day? Are we, the listeners, the melomaniacs, the people who desire more, much more and so much more, the ears of both subjectivity and straightness, becoming giants through this day? Both questions get no for an answer.

I don't know if it's really inappropriate, but it sure doesn't say much about the album:
CAMEL — The Snow Goose Review by arnaldosmp
What can I say more about this masterpiece of seventies? Everything is perfect: the
recording, the sound of guitar, the mix, the orchestral sounds, the very good taste of
melodies. Camel made your testament in history of prog rock! Is one of my favourite
albums of all time. Yes, it says it's very good... The thing is, I personally expect a bit more from a review. BTW, I always seem to pick Camel reviews... |

Unintelligible, from a reader standpoint. I'm sure the record is VERY good, but until the review is in plain English, is anyone likely to know? PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI (PFM) — Come Ti Va in Riva alla Città

I don't really know whether he uses an online translator or he just writes in Italian-influenced English - in this particular case, I'm inclined to believe the second option. Some of the mistakes are quite typical ("large" instead of "great").

not at all offensive, but these reviews really say nothing CAMEL — The Snow Goose
Review by arnaldosmp What can I say more about this masterpiece of seventies? Everything is perfect: the recording, the sound of guitar, the mix, the orchestral sounds, the very good taste of melodies. Camel made your testament in history of prog rock! Is one of my favourite albums of all time. Posted Tuesday, May 30, 2006, 07:47 EST | Permanent link CAMEL — Rain Dances
Review by arnaldosmp This is one of the best albums of Camel! In "Rain Dances", with Mel Collins (of King Crimson) and Richard Sinclair (of Caravan) the band made a album with new sound. More jazzy feel ("One of These Day..."), more beautiful vocals (the Rick vocals in "Tell Me") and new-age ("Elke"" with Brian Eno). The rest is typical Camel. Andy Latimer and Peter Bardens in fine form (the keyboards in "Skylines" is a must). For me is a five stars album! Posted Tuesday, May 30, 2006, 07:40 EST | Permanent link MAGMA — 1001° Centigrades
Review by braindamage The second work "1001℃ entigrades" released in 1971. Eerie style that repeats dash of angry waves in enchantment. It is a sound in which the first work is developed. An Oriental melody was multiused. The wind instrument was strengthened by Jeff SEFFER. The latter half of the album is jazz-rock of Electric that approaches SOFT MACHINE. The power of the drum and the brass is overwhelming here. It is sublime music. Posted Tuesday, May 30, 2006, 07:36 EST | Permanent link |

Hey, busy today!!!
Fido's review may be slightly edited.
Arnaldo's review to be handled with.
Hector's is OK for me, but I believe he can do better.
Victor's is OK for me too and he is also aware about the comments made.
Mandrake's and braindamage's are a 'study of case'... more to be revealed soon.

still for next time one of my reviews appears here...one hint: I don't write for casual read (or just for it).I write for analysis and perception. Edited by Ricochet - May 30 2006 at 09:51 |

as a Prog Reviewer and highly-valued memnber of Prog Archives,I would expect Ricochet to get more respect than someone simply posting: "more nonsense.....??? " How would you like it Mystic Fred if someone was so casually dismissive of something you had put so much effort into,as Victor obviously has? I will not sit idly by without comment whilst Collaborators are insulted in this manner. In future it would be a common courtesy to PM the member involved, not try to humiliate him like this!
