Shocked  I've done the exact same thing!  You've summarized my feelings about Tales exactly.  Smile

The Ancient was the first Yes song I heard.

I thought to myself, "If this band sounds like this normally, then I need to get more."

Yes, i do. One on vinyl and one on cd (rhino remasters)
In addition to that, I found what is for me the Ultimate form for TFTO! I burned on ONE cd all of the four tracks. That can be done easily if you edit out that annoying drum solo on the second half of ritual. And it runs at 79mins now!!!!!Wink

I have four coppies, two on vinyl, first opy got warped when my very ex girlfreind stuck it up in a window while i was on the golf course. Thn I have a BMG cassette, and the Rhino remaster. Again like many others the bonus tacks di\o f\detract from his classic, and the way rihno split them up is a problem foir me. But one I live with.

I just want to find a good decent turntable tht I can beh\gin to play my old vinyl on again. Last good one I saw was around 3000USD.

Thanks micky!  Yes it's our first and we're unbelievably excited.  I agree the whole thing is a miracle, we're really blessed (and yes, I'll still say that after changing diapers and not sleeping! LOL)

Yes.  Owned it on vinyl since 1976, hadn't listened to in in over a decade, bought the Rhino remaster just a few weeks ago, fell in love with it all over again.  Love it or hate it, there's nothing else quite like it in existence.  I love when Howe reprises the theme from Close to the Edge towards the end of the final song.

I've owned at least three vinyl copies and two CD sets, but now I only have it on my HD, which is fine for me.

Yes, I sure do. And it's in my personal top 3 of Yes albums, behind Close to the edge and Fragile.
