well it is an intimidating album... I know I've visited multiple times to read responses... being the self proclaimed  leader of the 'TFTO appreciation club' here hahahha Wink  Sort of surprised by the poll numbers and the lack of votes myself...

I like that album! But I would love it if the Ancients not-acoustic part would be shorter...and the Remembering gets also kinda tired...

Very interesting indeed. The age demographic here is fairly young, and it's quite possible that many of those people visiting this post have not heard TFTO. Maybe I should have added that to the poll as well Stern Smile

The first time I heard it the whole thing was just way too much, but I kept coming back even when I thought I hated it. Now it's my favourite album on these archives - excepting Tangerine Dream's Zeit and Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica, which aren't "prog rock" in the same sense.
