Mmm... I dunno who this Surkamp mister is, so I am not voting

Though I have not heard alot of Rush, I can tell Geddy Lee has an excellent, and not that annoying, voice. It is interesting that his singing has evolved and that he can reach his vocals live, something many cannot(LaBrie can't and I cringed )

Jon Anderson is more melodic than high don't you think? Anyway I sure like his voice, and he is awesome live!

About Cedric, he does reach high notes, but I don't have the knowledge to asure he is THE best, nevertheless he has a quite original voice, being a new band and all.

Annie Haslam...only heard one song of her with the Yes bros in "Its all over now baby blue", and she has a cute voice.

"Tis your birth and faith that wrong you...not I."

David Surkamp is the great PAVLOV'S DOG's singer!!!

I recommend you their first album called "Pampered Menial" released in 1975.

Annie Haslm from Rennesiance or however you write her name, or her band's name... probably wrote that with 20 spelling errors, but nevermind...... anyways she has a very high voice... sortof... hmm... I think a vocal range of over 5-6 octaves, and thats opera soprano standards.... well then again she is an opera soprano.... whatever..... good singer!

Thom Yorke from Radiohead gets up there... and some of those prog-metal singers an belt it way up there in the triple octave-y range

But I still think the highest voice goes to that dude from Sigur Ros. Holy sh*t

Oh, and I almost forgot the great singer of the band in my sig Claudio Sanchez from Co & Ca, with his "castratto' . Sings like a much cleaner and smoother Geddy Lee, IMO

someone wanted a time for cedrics higher notes so i thought i'd provide.

in Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus after the build-up he bellows "ooh yeah" about 4 times...each extremely high, and then afterward he repeats the chorus with varied notes hitting possibly the highest note i've evr heard but i haven't heard everyone mentioned here so i can't be sure he's the highest singer--he can sing some high notes though.

Cygnus is definately his highest moment I think but other high moments present themselves in just about every other song they've written. the time for that parts in cygnus are:

7:35-8:00

and then  8:30-9:40

yeah re-listenign those are some freaking high notes...

I'm a reasonable man, get off my case
