Topic: Rate The Flower King from the past year Posted: May 25 2006 at 09:27 |
OK, Flower Bulbs! Within the past year we had a new solo effort from Roine, and a new Flower Kings. Which do you prefer?

I checked in at the Hotel and never going back!
That and I simply haven't gotten "Wall Street Voodoo" yet, but I plan on getting it. Either way, I've heard WSVD is more straight blues/rock than progressive, not that it's bad, but I prefer the Yes/King Crimson-influenced stylings of the Flower Kings themselves.
And I'm surprised no one has mentioned, in the reviews I've read, that "Minor Giant Steps" sounds a LOT like "Gates Of Delerium" by Yes.
