Topic: Best solo album / Yes artists Posted: May 24 2006 at 14:47 |
Hi, progheads! Just for curiosity... I try to put just the more representative albums but I accept commentaries about other releases specially about the extense Anserson, Bruford, Howe or Wakeman discography...
Peace---

I love Wakeman's WIVES, but nothing beats Bruford!

From the ones I've listened, it's close between Squire's FOOW and Bruford's OOAK. I'll give it to Squire just because Bruford and Moraz have guest appearances there.

Six Wives, by far in my opinion...but Fish out of the water comes very close in my book.

I voted for the one I know best, which is "The 6 Wives..." - but I think that Bruford's solo albums are very probably the best of the whole lot (I'm planning to get them ASAP).

Rick Wakeman's 'Six Wives' , closely followed by Bruford's 'One Of A Kind' .

I was about to cry "it's been done!" but you've included a few less obvious choices.
I think I'd have to go for 6 Wives, not far behind is Bruford's Feels Good to Me, and then Fish Out of Water. Olias is good too....
Have to admit although I'm a Yeshead I've not heard Ramshackled.
The one I wouldn't vote for - OK I know you're not asking - is The Story of I

Bruford's 'Gradually Going Tornado' is immense, and just get's my vote over all the above ('Six Wives' is the best otherwise).
