Lowestoft?

Ah yes, it's a tad windy outside, but it's sunny for the moment.

Check out Purton's history if you have time.  You also have a nice church, from what I have seen (in books).

not Lowestoft!!!!!!

NORTH Norfolk coast.........the beautiful, unspoilt part!!!!

Yeah, I have done a little research.........my house used to be the mortuary! How cool is that?
The church is lovely..........and my son is pleased to be going to the same school that Billie Piper attended...........(not sure that's an educational recommendation) ........it's a Dr Who thing!

back to RANTING......................

MY LAWN MOWER WONT START!!!!!!!

I thought Billie Piper lived in Nine Elms near Rodbourne?

Apparently all her family have moved to Spain, or so I've heard...

I didn't mean Lowestoft... I know where Norwich is, so more north than that?

That is kind of weird, no ghosts present then?  I accidently drove through Purton once, I was lost and ended up there after visiting Riffs Bar.

The lawn mower belongs to the dearly beloved, who is currently working in europe..........I thought I would tackle the wilderness before he returns.........
turns out there was no petrol in it!!!!!

So, it's away in the garage, and I am giving up for one day..........I strimmed, I weeded..........mowing can wait!

I think i've got a feel for it. If Stevenage is a 'New Town' it probably came out of the same government template as Bracknell.

All you guys seem jolly angry today........
But I agree building on green patches stinks.......... we just moved from near Blacksword's neck of the woods, over here to near Geck0's neck....... one of the problems with this manic building is that folk want their space.......... thus making the price of houses in the country a RIDICULOUSLY ABSURD price!!!!

Where did all the space go???

Hey PC, wherabouts did you live in the Bracknell area?? Good on you for escaping.

It seems a number of PA members live in the Swindon area. Gecko and Richardh too! We should arrange a prog get together in that area one day. Same sort of thing as the famous London prog curry night!

Sleeper is currently in Oxford, but that's because he's at Uni, he's normally in Brum.

Of course, I never said that!  But where would be a good place to meet?  Prog-chick can come along too, she's only up the road from me.  I believe someone else is in Oxford as well...

But has anyone seen what they've done to Ely recently? I swear that place is ten times larger than it was 15 years ago!

its ok if you are mobile, all these places are near gorgeous countryside........... but if you don't have transport you are stuffed. We are getting TOO crowded , way way too crowded..........try driving anywhere on a bank holiday weekend......TOO MANY FREAKIN PEOPLE............

Sunday drivers!

Hooray for them... (tongue firmly in cheek)

Yes, you are correct.  I've never been to Stevenage or Ely.  But a lot of Cambridgeshire and Essex is getting built over.  Stansted is expanding and apparently they're demolishing whole villages!  That is dispicable!

Would this be the gentleman to whom you refer...?

I really tried to find a picture of him in that fetching white tuxedo he used to wear occasionally.

...so we agree, then:

I don't know how this particular rant of mine will go down, but hey, I don't care...

The Prince Of Wales -

Heir to the ancient throne of England -

Defender Of The Faith in waiting (and waiting, and waiting...) -

Expert on all things environmental, architectural, ecological, homeopathic, alternative, organic and countryside related (to the extent that he even married a horse recently) -

An open letter -

Sir,

With all due respect to your position and title:

Will you please, just for once shut the ++++ up until you know what the bloody hell you're talking about!

Thank you -

Yours sincerely,

All those who are fed up of you popping up in every vaguely "right-on" forum you can get to in order to regale us with your vast wealth of knowledge (ie half-truths, unsubstantiated semi-facts, rumour, conjecture and plain old fashioned twaddle) in the sure and certain knowledge that your mother is only holding grimly onto the throne to prevent our being "ruled" by a man with his head so far up his own bottom he cannot see that his second born son looks nothing like his "parents" but increasingly like his late wife's (Gawd bless the late blue-blooded Sloan brood-mare) close friend, James Hewitt...
