Not all of it is, Bob.  Alamaailman Vasarat's videos are available on their website, so that's at least one video that isn't illegal.

And to be fair, who's going to kick up a fuss about an old 1969 video of Jethro Tull performing Bouree?

Yeah, I found the video for Jethro Tull's 1978 performance of "Thick as a Brick." I never knew there was a video for it; I'd had the audio that came with the remaster for some time.

This thread is full of links from people who have already done the above
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=18860&KW=videos

Other video sites worth checking out are www.fabchannel.com which has a load of videos of gigs.
And http://free.guba.com/ which is much like youtube.com.

Oh my, yes. For example, the Live at Pompeii footage is on YouTube, directly ripped from the DVD.

Google Video have some interesting stuff too - but YouTube is way better.

Apparently there's software out there that allows you to download the videos from both sites - but I wouldn't use it.

Don't know why I'm mentioning it really.

The important thing is not to stop questioning.
