In fact I hope to give away 1 jazz rock CD each of the next Thursday evenings, in a competition.

The competition will name the band, and the tie breaker will be name the album the track comes from. This Thursday's prize is the winner's choice from:

1. Soft Machine Legacy Live, one of the last recordings made by Elton Dean
2. Nicholas D'Amato's Royal Society: Nullius In Verba (featuring Wayne Krantz).
3. Sarah Pillow's (rather inaccurately named) Remixes, featuring  former members fo Brand X, now known as Tunnels. The album is a rather odd hybrid of jazz rock fusion players  with an operatic trained singer, playing Renaissance and Roccoco compositions, in very modern arrangements - the second CD of the set, has the traditional arrangements and settings. It worked for me!!
