Oh yeah, I forgot, I actually voted for "other" that other being Roland Orzabal (Tears for Fears) I had to go check the archives to see if they were there, (they are not) If you don't believe how prog they are check out "Raoul and the kings of Spain" even the "sowing the Seeds" album............so prog!
Great stuff, really great! |

Someone mentioned RHCP, I think they could pull it off if they really tryed to do prog, but from the list I voted Dave Grohl, but for his drumming not his singing/guitar playing.

Carter Beauford is so good. A drummer who can play well in different times is so important for prog. Carter Beauford in a prog band would be awesome.

I finally got around to voting in my own poll. Good to see everyone enjoying it.
I voted for Carter Beauford, too. Definitely one of the best drummers to come along in a long time. Very dynamic style. E |

Schon. He's got the touch as he showed with early Journey. I also have the albums he did with Jan Hammer (Schon & Hammer), and those tend toward the prog side in the vein of Jeff Beck and Steve Morse.
