I remember that album with two tracks on one side. It may have been "Matching Tie and Handkerchief". |

The Ministry Of Silly Walks is hilarious but I also love the absurd turn in the sketch in The Lumberjack Song ... so I cannot choose, these sketches are so brilliant and timeless. I grew up with Monty Python's Flying Circus in the Seventies and I still enjoy it, it's perfect to relax and it's prooved that a regular laugh is good for your health. This summer I will put all my MPFC video footage on DVD, including the Live At The Hollywood Bowl concert!

First I was going to say, that my favourite one would be.... but then, what about... or was it... or is it.... or couldn't it be... or is it rather..... and what about... plus the movies...
and the records (anybody remember the album which had three tracks on two sides? I don't recall the title and which side it was, but as far as I remember there were two tracks on one side and it depended on where your pick-up made contact with the record that you heard either of the tracks. A friend of mine told me he wasn't even aware for quite some time that there were two tracks.) ... and my favourite - sorry, but I can't decide! |

"can't decide they're all brilliant"
I absolutely love Python, both the sketches as well as the films and have seen it all a bit too much. I still love The Ministery of Funny Walks or that stupid sketch were Pallin has two small fish in his hand and slaps John Cleese's face with them, while doing this stupid dance. At one point Cleese grabs this huge fish and hits Pallin in his face with it. Typical Python nonesense but still good amusement! ![]() ![]() |
